Being at one with nature is a powerful presence - it's what I live for. We are constantly surrounded by beauty and sometimes you just have to feel it. As I pushed to the ridge top in the Lamar Valley I could feel the wolves watching me. I pulled out my 600mm and fired off a series of shots. There she was the Black Wolf.

Beneath the canopy of a tree in Washington State is one of those moments I'll never forget. It had just finished raining and the tree just popped with life. I studied the tree from all angles and took a series of shots. It was gorgeous. I wanted to push the composition even further and crawled beneath the canopy - the branches just reached out and told a story.

The moment Scooter tucked the P-51 mustang "Quick Silver" into our wing, before I even pressed the shutter, I knew it was going to be an epic shot. The chrome, the clouds, and the rumble of the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine opened my mind to total freedom. The blue skies, the Cumulus clouds, and the sunlight were all working in my favor. It was such a epic scene - it was perfect.
